But God Ministries is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, that shares the love of Jesus Christ through building sustainable communities around the world. They are currently building two sustainable communities in Haiti. The first community is in Galette Chambon, which is about 17 miles east of Port-au-Prince near Ganthier, Haiti. The second community is in Thoman, which is about a two hour drive east of Port-au-Prince near the border with the Dominican Republic.

 

BGM seeks to meet physical needs through medical clinics and dental clinics, which are run by full-time Haitian doctors and full-time American Medical Directors. In addition, they host medical-dental teams from America for week-long visits.  BGM currently sponsors over 400 children in local schools through a sponsorship program, providing, tuition, books, uniforms, school supplies, and a meal every day at school. The organization runs a secondary school in Galette Chambon and one in Thoman.  BGM works to create full-time and part-time jobs for Haitians; job training and job creation are top priorities. Road construction and road repair have been undertaken to help with travel and economic development.
 

The name of the organization originates from the passage in Ephesians 2, that says we were dead in our trespasses and sins, but God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ Jesus.
